Hal helped me to think, what do I want in life?
Up until now, I have been controlled by my mental health. That ends today. I want to be in control. To be in control, I feel that I need to create and stick to goals. I am researching more goal ideas as it has been hard to think for the last few months. I found a few resources and have thought of the following:
- Practice mindfulness on a daily basis at least 5 minutes
- Read 100 books by graduation from grad school
- Finish Grad school
- Become goal-focused
- Move into my own home
- Pay off debt
- Find someone to marry
- Recover from addiction
- Pay off car
- Lose weight to be under 145 pounds
- Run a mile
- Walk 10,000 steps every day for 2 weeks
- Write a love letter to future me
- Practice yoga once a week
- 30 days of Figure 8 Fitness program
- Read the entire book of scriptures
- Read 30 minutes a day for 30 days
- Go to the gym for 30 minutes 5 days a week for 30 days
- Hold a plank for 60 seconds
- Complete a 2,000 piece puzzle
- Answer 300 questions about me
- Become a licensed counselor
- Have CSAT certification
- Finish all the books that I have accumulated both in print and digital
- Wake up on time every day for one month
- Learn more skills for working with people with mental illness while focusing on my own recovery
- Journal every day for 30 days
- Stop a bad habit
- Watch less TV in a day, to one show a day and spend that time doing other things
- Finish all crochet projects
- Leave comfort zone and speak up and spark a conversation with a strange
That is one goal for every year I have been alive. Which seems doable in the next 10 years. I'll change it and add to it as I see fit and when I complete goals. I will use MyOrganizedLife to organize all these goals
